The handmade Lockcarron tartan brooch or flower measures approximately 8-10cm in diameter and each “petal” is layered with crin to create a “tutu” like effect.

Lochcarron of Scotland one of the most famous Scottish weaving mills is located quite near to us in the Borders whilst the original traditional weaving shed remains up at Lochcarron itself. This collection of brooches was launched at the recent Designer Makers Craft Fair at Tennants in Leyburn.
The red peach bloom fedora shown here is available to commission. Like all the hats, headpieces and accessories featured on my website store, it is handmade from carefully selected couture fabrics, the pieces are enhanced by the natural characteristics of each fabric, making each hat, headpiece and accessory unique. Each design/colourway in the store is available to purchase for immediate delivery. Alternatively, you can also commission custom-made bespoke adaptations, based on any of the styles shown in the store.
